Bluepearl Pet Hospital Gwinnett

Was referred here due to eye cyst on our dog. Almost $1,000 to take care of. Dr. was great. Caring and professional. However, she told us she wanted us to come back after 6 weeks, to make sure she got it all and told us, "no charge for the recheck". Our dog's eye looked fine after 6 weeks, but we took her back as requested. We almost canceled because we didn't think it was necessary, but wanted to be considerate and comply. Dr was with my dog less than 5 minutes. No issues. As we were leaving I was told there was a "recheck" charge. (Even after the Dr. told us, no charge 6 weeks earlier.) I about choked when the "recheck" was $150. We certainly feel ripped off and lied too. We really liked the Dr, but the older lady at the front was always curt. We won't be back. Part 2. I called the office as requested by the owner. (even though they have my number). I know corporate is in Florida, but they wanted me to call John Creeks number, so I did. I asked for the Office Manager explaining the situation. She said the office manager would call me back before the end of the day. A few days have gone by and still no reply. I guess Ill have to call corporate.

The staff at Blue Pearl Johns Creek have been nothing short of incredible - everyone is kind, helpful, and knows what they’re doing. I can’t remember everyone’s name but Hillary that helped me get an appointment, Dani that was the tech that helped at our first appointment and Dr. Block are amazing. Dr. Block has been so wonderful amidst the horrifying diagnosis of a brain tumor for my girl - her bedside manner is calm and understanding , she called me multiple times during the MRI and post diagnosis and has promptly returned calls and talked with me at length as I’ve processed moving forward. I hope to never be in this situation again but if I were, I wouldn’t hesitate for one second before coming to BP

Go elsewhere for dermatologic needs. 4 hour wait with 0 service done for an appointment scheduled a month out. A cat that normally has no significant issue cooperating with procedures could not get a blood draw. Our cat has open wounds and rashes and was sent away after no service beyond a quick inspection in 4 hours. How you can let a pet leave like that is beyond me. This was supposed to be a specialist that could help after months and years of vet visits trying to diagnose. Where we get the usual spiel of "well it could be any allergy" and "there may not be a cure". Great, we've tried that and have a long patient history of things we've marked off. I was wanting new advice or direction on what can be done. Clearly this isn't the place.

We had to visit Blue Pearl John's Creek in the middle of the night after wasting time at urgent care in Covington. Mary was incredibly patient answering questions & bringing us in. They had our records from 12 years ago. Dr. Harwell & the techs were very efficient & empathetic even though it was not the outcome we expected. I highly recommend Blue Pearl, even if it's a longer drive given the capabilities available (surgery, subspecialists) & the kindness the team provided.

Dr morris sat with me and let me grieve my baby in peace. She was such a light to a dark situation. I adore her
